This session led by student instructors has been crafted with the primary aim of providing attendees with a practical and immersive initiation into the realm of vinyl cutting. This workshop is structured to merge interactive discussions with hands-on demonstrations, ensuring that participants not only grasp the theoretical aspects but also get a firsthand experience of the vinyl cutting process. This 60-minute, student-led demonstration is designed to give a practical introduction to vinyl cutting, combining hands-on demonstration and interactive discussion.
Lesson ObjectivesBy the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the primary functions and components of a vinyl cutting machine.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
• Observe a live demonstration of the vinyl cutting process.

This session is a dynamic design charrette aimed at guiding students through a comprehensive master planning session. Engage in meaningful discussions on community design, covering essential elements such as parks, schools, churches, and traffic routes. A charrette is an example of the value of citizens being civil minded in a community and fuels collaborative efforts. In this session, stakeholders will unite with experts to tackle community challenges head-on and establish collective policies. Through charrettes, we foster trust and empower individuals to address contentious issues, fostering a cohesive community environment with a shared vision of quality living. This 60-minute, peer-led workshop is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to laser engraving, ensuring that all participants gain both practical skills and an understanding of safe operation.

     By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the basic operation and safety protocols of a laser engraver.
• Identify key components of a laser engraving machine.
• Safely operate the laser engraver to complete a small project.
